To mark the launch of its official website, Sails & Vineyards (Voiles et Vignobles) Bordeaux 2027 is unveiling an extraordinary event which, from 7 to 11 July 2027, will transform Bordeaux into a port of call where the ocean meets the vineyards. Hosting the Tall Ships Races 2027 requires the city to prepare for five days of encounters, shared experiences and celebrations, bringing together maritime cultures and the art of wine-making.
On the Port of the Moon quayside, some forty tall ships from around the world will drop anchor, transforming the city into a harbour of emotions and discoveries. Visitors will be invited to come aboard, meet the crews and enjoy a packed programme combining parades, concerts, tastings and shows.
Through a partnership with Bordeaux Wine Festival, this edition offers a unique experience intertwining maritime traditions and wine culture, and making Bordeaux a true crossroads of expertise, different cultures and horizons.
Beyond the festivities, Sail Training International highlights the educational role of sail training vessels, which take many young people on board for a unique human and maritime experience.
