Visit the Belem in Bordeaux from July 2 to 5, 2026

Let’s get a sneak peek at the Tall Ships Races with the arrival of the legendary three-masted ship, the Belem, at the Port de la Lune. Tours of the ship, along with activities on the docks, will be available until July 5.

Join us this weekend for a sneak peek at the world of Sails and Vineyards Bordeaux 2027!

Le Belem in the spotlight

Few vessels embody French maritime heritage quite like Le Belem. The legendary tall ship drops anchor in Bordeaux from 2 to 5 July 2026, ahead of its participation in the 2027 Tall Ships Races. Throughout the weekend, visitors can book a guided tour of the ship and enjoy a full programme of free quayside activities.

Free Screen-Printing Workshops

On 4 and 5 July, the association L’Insoleuse is opening its screen-printing workshops to all — free of charge, and suitable for all ages. Running from 2 pm to 6 pm, the sessions draw inspiration from winemaking heritage, Le Belem and the Tall Ships Races.

Working alongside the association’s artists, participants will get a feel for the spirit of Sails and Vineyards — and go home with a one-of-a-kind screen-printed postcard to show for it.

One year out: what to expect in 2027

From 7 to 11 July 2027, Bordeaux Métropole and Bordeaux fête le Vin are joining forces to create a truly unique event: Sails and Vineyards Bordeaux 2027.
Five days of celebrations will animate the waterfront, culminating in the spectacular departure of nearly forty exceptional tall ships — both civilian and military — from every corner of the globe.

Leaving the Port de la Lune behind, the fleet will embark on the Tall Ships Races, heading first for A Coruña in Spain, then Sines in Portugal.
